Finding a Job Tips

Finding a job can be difficult and it is wise to be as prepared as possible. There a  few things you can do to get the edge over other job seekers.

1. Start by researching the industry you want to work in, go to sites like eg www.jobsearcho.com.au. Read job ads, call employers and find out eveything from typical hours worked, to pay conditions, educational requirments etc.

2. Prepare a great resume and cover letter and this sometimes means getting a professional to do it. Make sure you paint yourself in a positive light. Also remember that an employer whats to know how you will have positive impact on their business. They want to know that you will treat their customers right, increase the companies sales, mow more lawns etc.

3. Be confident in your interview, do not interupt, always answer questions and listen.
